Shuhiba Mohammad, PhD is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Her research focuses on how early placental developmental processes are programmed.

Shuhiba Mohammad is a first generation Afghan-Canadian. She holds a PhD in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, an MSc in Experimental Medicine from Queen's University, an MBS from the University of Guelph, and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Guelph.
Shuhiba has published works on the topics of pregnancy, placenta biology, exercise physiology, and extracellular vesicles (see her Google Scholar page). She holds a Molly Towell Perinatal Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship and is a current Achievers in Medical Sciences (AIMS) Postdoctoral Fellowship holder.
